What does Junebug love?

US! I received such a nice note this week that one of our weddings was being featured on Junebug's daily blog "What Junebug Loves". The wedding has beautiful photos from Cheri Pearl and features the fantastic architecture of the Rem Koolhaas-designed Seattle Public Library (so Sex in the City!). See the whole shebang HERE

Paint by numbers

I had a paint by numbers kit in sixth grade--a horse that took me about a year to complete--but haven't tried one since. But I'm thinking it might be a fun project to revisit...via one of the photo converter software programs out there. Basically, you take a photo you love, scan it, and crop/enlarge until you love what you have. You pick the brand of paint you want to use, and the program prints out a template and list of colors. I'm thinking of whole wall of kitschy flower paintings would be adorable in the new sunroom!

Real Weddings: katie + jim

I just started going through photos that date back as far as April, so this is the first of several "real weddings" I have to share. I appreciate the full memory card intervening or I might never have returned...

Hey there!

Ok, I'm thinking of getting back to work. The hiatus has been lovely...weddings, painting, yard work, record heat in Seattle (not so lovely actually), and lots of frozen meals (I took an unannounced hiatus from cooking too, much to my family's dismay). I'll be posting pics this week of some of the recent weddings.
