Real Weddings: Annie + Nicole's Woodmark Hotel Waterfront Wedding

Oh, I seriously love these girls. Annie (maybe a little proudly) stated at her first meeting that she didn't really think she needed flowers, but her planner was insisting on it. By the end of the meeting though, she had a little gleam in her eye. And on her wedding day, I could tell those flowers (and Nicole!) made her heart pound. And after? THE MOST appreciate couple ever. Emails, cards, FB comments, and a huge print they ordered from (incredibly awesome) Gabriel Boone of the bouquet. Not of Annie holding the bouquet. Not the bouquet next to her wedding dress. Not even the bouquet on one of their pretty tables. Just a shot of her bouquet standing all by itself.  The report is that it is hanging proudly in a place of honor in their home, because Annie just couldn't bear to part with it. How's that for not needing flowers?

And congrats ladies on your recent LEGAL!!!!! Wedding 2.0!!!! I was honored, thrilled, and humbled to contribute. It's not often I get repeat customers (thank goodness!) but this was for the best reason in the world. xoxo

A sweet image from sweeter Barbie Hull, of an elopement we did a few weeks ago, coordinated by Megan Keller.  The scent of this bouquet rocked!  The ceremony was at The Herbfarm (followed by the reception there as well...dinner for two!), so the flowers had to smell amazing.  "Patience" and "White Majolica" garden roses with French lavender.  Yum.

Spectacular photos from Kate Moss's recent wedding to Jaime Hince...but would you expect anything less from Mario Testino?  Or one of the most photographed women in history?  Or anyone wearing a custom Galliano gown?  Or anyone posing with a flock of flower girls and a pageboy that look like they fell out of A Midsummer's Night's Dream?  Pretty, pretty, pretty!

Real Weddings: Katie + Casey

A few of my bad snaps before I get professional pics back...I just got home from the best weekend--San Juan Island, the beautiful old Roche Harbor Resort, a great partner (Katy of Unveiled Events), a super bride and groom (I could just kill myself for not getting a single shot of Katie and Casey!  Or the dress!  More to come, I promise), a beautiful crystal chandelier we hung, burlap and twine everywhere, the debut of my copperplate calligraphy I've been learning (still a long way to go, but I think the escort cards turned out pretty!), turquoise glass and lace covered hurricanes, and the most fragrant, creamy white peonies ever.  Enjoy!
