week in review {June 28 edition}

Peonies & Polaroids has been working hard to bring you directions for those darling handmade birds she's been working on. Lovely directions and her sweet birdies are just stunning. Make 'em! Send her a picture! And while you are visiting her blog, also check out her newly finished invitations. I swear everything she touches turns out beautiful.

Paul loves beets. I love Paul. See Paul's beets. (Photo by Colin Cooke)

Perfect bound shared photos from a florist she was checking out--Modern Day Designs. Beautiful inspiration on their site!

I find something I love every single week on Please sir. Diana never fails to find amazing things, and this week was no exception. Love the great vintage finds from Retrouvius that she highlighted. Please sir, I'll take one of each!

All Things Bright and Beautiful intervied Constance from Rochambeau. Constance makes the most beautiful bags (for sale here), and I love this simple seasonal centerpiece of pears and garden roses. Sublime.

And didn't I warn you this week that peacocks and carnations were the hottest trends going? And then we see this tablescape on Elizabeth Anne Designs, put together by none other than one of my very favorite dress designers, Monique Lhullier of course. Featuring...peacocks and carnations. There you go. (Photos originally from House Beautiful)

wow... you have a beautiful blog yourself full of inspiration!! I am so inspired by design... more so than cookbooks. Colors, textures and nostalgia really inspire me to make desserts. Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Awesome links and features. I love guessing what the new trends will be. I love it even more when I am right. So nice work on the peacock/carnation prediction! That table makes me want to melt!

Thanks for the mention! Those little birds sure are getting around!

I love the tablescape, so insanely decadent. And the leafy handbag is gorgeous.

I love your weekly roundup!

Aran, thanks so much! It means a lot coming from someone with what I think is one of the most beautiful of the beauties!

OLP, thanks! It was lucky prediction week, that is for sure! How are the relaxing mornings going?

And P&P,I'm just so grateful that you shared all your wisdom! They do seem to be flying around all over now, so obviously it was a hit!
