I feel so sorry for these poor little tulips have been in their own personal Easter Parade through all of the florists wholesale newletters etc. for the last couple of weeks.
According to the site where they are sold, they've "been through a highly developed color enhancing process, shedding a different kind of glow, with each petal of the bloom displaying a new color". Call me crazy, but I suspect that this highly developed process isn't the same highly developed process other flowers go through--sun, rain, rich crumbly peaty soil, a little more sun, a little more rain...
